It all begins with an idea.

Our Dream Became a Reality!

We tried, for two years, to get this grant to offer our tribe new rental homes. So many thanks go out to a lot of people!

I would first like to thank the Ely Shoshone Tribal Council for supporting this endeavor.

Michael Dalton, our Grants Writer/Planner, for writing up the grant, organizing the meeting with the contractors, and kept us on track.

Alvin Marques, Housing Maintenance Supervisor, also a fellow dreamer of this amazing opportunity.

Richard Stultz, Lead Contractor, thank you for all your hard work. We couldn’t have done it without you and being our voice of reason.

Lee Walker, Lead Carpenter, thank you for all of your knowledge and amazing skills.

Juan Munoz, for sticking it out, through it all, with us.

Mario Gonzalez, Jerry Gonzalez-Flores, and Junior Gonzalez, I can’t say it enough: you kept us in the game!

Aaron Charles and Tim Robertson, Housing Maintenance, for always picking up the pieces and putting things back together. You guys deserve so much credit and respect!

Garland Lee, all the paperwork! Thank you, Garland!

They are beautiful homes, and we absolutely love them! Our hearts are exploding with pride!
